Path 2 to recognition as an MT-R

Adaptation course (Anpassungslehrgang) for MT-R: how it works

The adaptation course is the practical alternative to the knowledge examination. You make up the differences identified in your Defizitbescheid (deficit notice) in an adaptation phase: theory online and practical learning phases with a practice supervisor at your workplace. This way you prepare practically for your Anerkennung (recognition) as an MT-R.

What is the adaptation course?

If your Defizitbescheid identifies substantial differences compared with the German MT-R training, you can make them up — instead of with the knowledge examination — with an adaptation course. In it you acquire the missing competencies in a practical way, in the areas named in your notice. The duration depends on your Defizitbescheid and is usually between 3 and 12 months.
