You register using our online form — or your employer registers you. You receive a binding reply within 24 hours.
Your Defizitbescheid is the basis: it names the competence areas and the practical fields (radiology, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine) that you still need to make up. We review it and recommend the right path — Kenntnisprüfung or Anpassungslehrgang.
In a personal conversation with our head of education we assess your knowledge and your professional experience. For the Anpassungslehrgang, the interview sets the duration and structure of your learning phases.
Based on your notice and the interview we prepare your assessment: which path, which duration, which placements in which fields — your complete roadmap to recognition.
Fair arrangement: the placement interview and the assessment are free of charge if you then take part in the course. If you decide against the course after the assessment, we charge a one-off fee of 150 €.
You complete the practical parts in a facility — supported by qualified practical instructors in each field. We plan dates and procedures together with you and your facility; your practical instructor documents your proof of competence.
We prepare the documents for the Federal Employment Agency (Agentur für Arbeit) — with them, you (or your employer) apply for funding. Then you start: the preparation for the Kenntnisprüfung (full-time further training, online) or your Anpassungslehrgang.

Then the Eignungsprüfung (aptitude test) usually applies to you instead of the Kenntnisprüfung — it covers the practical part with a reflective discussion and is limited to the differences identified in your notice, so it is considerably more compact. The Anpassungslehrgang is open to you as well: with EU training you complete it without a final exam.
