With training from the EU, the EEA or Switzerland, the more compact Eignungsprüfung applies instead of the Kenntnisprüfung.
Individual advice in the assessment interview (Einstufungsgespräch)
Our MTR specialists recommend the right qualification, tailored to you. The interview takes 60 minutes by video with our specialist lecturer, and your employer is welcome to join. You receive the recommendation in writing as an expert report (Gutachten).
After the assessment interview you have the roadmap in writing: Kenntnisprüfung or Anpassungslehrgang, the practical areas, the expected duration and, if recommended, the specialist language course. This lets you plan placements and funding with your facility from the start.

How long does the qualification take?
Preparation for the Kenntnisprüfung usually takes around 20 weeks. For the Anpassungslehrgang, the duration depends on the Defizitbescheid.
When can I start?
Your workplace learning phases begin as soon as the documents have been reviewed and the schedule has been agreed with the facility. Classes start with the next course date.
